About our Founder, Sheri Muntean CPA PhD
Sheri Muntean CPA PhD (WA CPA 22643, CA CPA 59854) founded Shamballa Centre LLC after rising to the level of National Manager at Ernst & Young in the late 1990s, then the largest tax practice in the world. Wishing to bring that level of service to small businesses, and with a Masters in Psychology and PhD in Metaphysics, Sheri created an environment at Shamballa Centre LLC combining a commitment to community service and and an optimal work environment with the professionalism of the top CPA firms in the country. She created the vision of Shamballa Centre LLC, for employees and clients, Supporting Success - Providing Peace of Mind.
Darene Follett CPA NMLS is our Tax Partner, a Certified Public Accountant (WA License No. 31905) and Notary who specializes in individual, non-profit, and small-business taxation with a strong background in yellow-book audits and banking. Darene is the lead partner on all Shamballa Centre S Corporation, Excise, and Non-profit work.
Ariel McCould is our Accounting Partner, a Certified Bookkeeper and Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, who has been working with the Shamballa Centre CPA Firm for over fifteen years. Ariel spearheads the bookkeeping side of the Shamballa Centre practice.
Shaylee Griffin is our Managing Partner, Client Success Partner and Payroll Coordinator, is a Certified Accounting Services Specialist, Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and has decades of experience in customer support and service. Shay is in charge of all of Shamballa's payroll-related issues. She is working towards becoming an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.
